Recently I’ve been crocheting a lot, here are some squares I crocheted. It feels like a very autumn thing to do, making these little squares. Also a vintage style thing.
I’m planning to make some cushions out of the little things I’ve crocheted, so they’re coming soon. I’m a little excited to see how they’ll turn out.

This first quote/image is from my favourite book of proverbs…well actually it’s my only book of proverbs but it’s definitely my favourite.
I spent a little while yesterday looking up quotes and comments, I was on the hunt for inspirational and wise ones. There were loads, but one that I found mentioned how you feel better after a sneeze. Now I’m sure this wasn’t a proverb, and it annoyed me a little but at the same time I liked it.
The only reason a little part of me didn’t like it was because I was sure they’ve never had allergies, once one sneeze gets through all the rest come out at the same with a punch (not a real punch, I really would hate sneezing then). Cue; ‘OMG Roxanne are you alright? Have you been crying? What’s wrong?’, ‘No I’m fine my eyes are watering because I just sneezed, nothings wrong.’, ‘Oh’.
I really like the ‘No standing, only dancing’ image, makes me imagine people walking up to that section and then doing a little disco shimmy across there and then back to walking again.

A new and different post today, which might become a common feature, called ‘Inside’. Really it means; Inside a movie. The film I chose for today is ‘The Darjeeling Limited’, a great film.
I’m hoping that by doing these posts it will have a double effect for me.
One, I’ll watch more ‘great’ and ‘classic’ films (I’ll have to shame myself and admit that I’ve never seen ‘Resvoir Dogs’ or ‘Pulp Fiction’, next on my invisible list of films to see).
Two, that I’ll start taking a lot more photos and then end up with ones that I can relate to films I’ve seen.
So with this new feature, I find different images that remind me of a specific film or that I think would fit in well in the location/theme.
In last picture I’ve got lots of, my version of, crocheted flowers. I tried to arrange them to look like a bouquet of flowers but it looks more like a tree. I like it though, I think it would look good on a cushion.
Here are images I’ve taken and remind me of ‘The Darjeeling Limited’.

Last week I got some supplies through the post, lots of goodies to make hair pins and rings. It was so exciting that I started to make them straight away. Even after I had to wait a good few hours, before I could take photos, I was ecstatic during the little photo shoot.
I’ll say it’s because I adore each item, I actually want them all myself. Silly me, I especially love a large pink red rose ring that I’m adding tomorrow.
Here is a sneak peek at some of what is to come, tomorrow.

This week apart from taking store update photos (there will be a store update by the end of the week) I’ve been working my crochet skills, and have used my bright orange yarn. I love the colour but hadn’t found a proper use for it apart from bows. I’ll warn you that they’re bright and they’re not ashamed of it, I like them a lot.
Hope you like these new lovelies. Now I’m off to: make things, buy things and get my teeth drilled. I’m not looking forward to the teeth thing.
